Hi, I’m angelina chan!
i’ve always been told i was as a “future leader of the business”. that young woman needed someone like today’s me to help her out.
my family immigrated from hong kong to toronto when i was 5. learning to navigate and thrive in the “western system” was a tough and solo endeavor as my parents felt their own culture shock. but i overflowed with grit and perseverance, and failure was not an option.
the past 30+ years have been one educational or professional pursuit after another. i am proud to be a self-made, successful business and people leader.
now here’s the but... but i found i was increasingly misaligned with my own voice and my values, as evidenced by my burnouts. i had to find my courage to not only figure out what i wanted, but to also say it out loud.
i have been lucky to have had access to resources that made me successful. so now, it’s time to pay it forward to those who are, like I was, just trying to figure it out and need a little bit of help.
we don’t have to do it all by ourselves.

my mission
It all started with an intention: to take what I do best, and to use it to help other people.
a great leader at linkedin once introduced me to the idea of “service to others”. it was then that she inadvertently gave me the last piece of the puzzle to who i was as a leader.
be a catalyst for self-actualization
i will challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone and remind you that growth comes from courage.
lift women & BIPOC
i will advocate for those who are under-represented at the tables where decisions are made.
embody work-life harmony
i strive to achieve a healthy, realistic relationship with work, and to set an example to my community.
My philosophy
be authentic. you are enough.
isn’t just so tiring otherwise? yes, i, too, am familiar with imposter syndrome and have self-doubt. just don’t let it paralyze you from showing up as yourself.
when in doubt, lean into community.
there is immense power in people and connection. look for community. create it. you never have to do it alone. and if you let it, community will lift you to new heights.
overindex on compassion.
the grace you put out in the world is sure to come back. fuel it with curiosity and world becomes less tense.
